Because our products are fresh and perishable, we cannot accept returns once an order has been picked up or delivered. This ensures that all of our customers receive baked goods that are safe, fresh, and handled properly from start to finish. While we stand behind the quality of everything we create, we understand that unique situations may arise. For this reason, we have created a clear refund policy to guide you through how we handle these rare instances. Please note that this policy does not override local consumer protection laws, but instead outlines our commitment to transparency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Refund Policy - The Basics 

Our goal is to make sure that every bite of our treats makes your mouth smile and your stomach dance. That said, because our products are custom-made and perishable, refunds are limited to very specific circumstances. If you receive an order that is damaged, incorrect, or not up to the standard of quality that Sweet Treats by Robin is known for, we will take every step possible to make it right. To qualify for a refund or replacement, we require that you notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order. A photo of the product in question will also be needed to help us understand the issue. Refunds are not available for customers who change their mind, order the wrong item by mistake, or fail to properly store their baked goods after delivery or pickup. We truly value every customer and want each experience to feel personal and special, which is why we carefully balance fairness with quality assurance in our policy.

Refund Policy - The Process

To keep everything clear and simple, here is how our refund process works in detail:

Situations Eligible for Refunds or Replacements

  • If you receive an incorrect item in your order (for example, if you ordered a carrot cake but received a chocolate cake instead).

  • If your order arrives visibly damaged due to our error or during delivery.

  • If the quality of your order does not meet the high standard of freshness and taste that we promise.

Situations Not Eligible for Refunds

  • If you change your mind after the order has been confirmed or prepared.

  • If the product is not stored properly once in your care (for example, left unrefrigerated when refrigeration is required).

  • Seasonal or custom-prepared items that are made specifically for you cannot be refunded unless there is a quality issue.

How Refunds Are Processed
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, you will have two options:

  1. A refund to your original payment method, which may take 5–7 business days to process depending on your bank or payment provider.

  2. A store credit in the form of a gift voucher that you can use toward any future purchase. Many of our customers prefer this option as it allows them to continue enjoying their favorite sweets at another time.

We kindly ask that all refund or replacement requests are made promptly so that we can continue to provide the best possible service. Your happiness matters deeply to us, and while refunds may be limited due to the nature of our products, our goal is always to leave you feeling valued, cared for, and excited to come back for more.
